Printworthy (“the App”) is developed and operated by Scott Kominsky under the GoodUse.ai name. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Scott Kominsky as the developer of Printworthy.
Printworthy is a private, local-first photo curation app. Its visual analysis, curation, and scoring happen on your device—not on servers operated by us. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
1. Information Processed on Your Device
With your permission, Printworthy accesses photographs you have authorized it to access in your Apple Photos library. This access is used to:
- Identify scenic and frame-worthy photographs
- Create curated photo selections
- Display photo details and recommendations
- Maintain saved shortlists
- Support sharing and exporting
- Avoid repeatedly showing the same photographs
The App may process photographs and associated metadata already stored in Apple Photos, including:
- Photo identifiers
- Creation dates
- Dimensions
- Favorite status
- Photo type and orientation
- Embedded location information, when available
Printworthy uses Apple’s on-device machine-learning and computer-vision capabilities to help evaluate photographs. Visual analysis and scoring occur on your device.
The App also stores preferences, curation results, saved selections, discovery history, scoring information, and feature-usage state locally on your device.
2. Data Collection
We do not collect, receive, or store your photographs or photo-library information on servers operated by us.
Except for requests to Apple services and user-directed sharing or exporting described below, Printworthy does not transmit your photographs or photo-library information off your device.
Printworthy does not require an account or sign-in. It does not include third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, profiling, or crash-reporting SDKs.
We do not sell, rent, or use your information for advertising.
3. Apple Services
Printworthy uses Apple system services to provide certain features. These services are operated by Apple and are governed by Apple’s privacy practices.
Depending on the features you use:
- Apple Photos and iCloud may retrieve an original photograph to your device when needed.
- To generate a readable place name, Printworthy may send a photograph’s embedded coordinates to Apple MapKit. We do not receive or store those coordinates.
- Purchases and purchase restoration are processed through Apple StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment-card information or Apple ID.
- Optional Weekly Wall Picks reminders are scheduled through Apple’s local notification system.

4. Sharing and Exporting
Printworthy does not upload your photographs to GoodUse.ai or to servers operated by us.
When you choose to share or export a photograph, the App uses the iOS Share Sheet or Apple Photos. The photograph is provided only to the destination you select.
Once information is provided to another app, service, or person at your direction, that destination’s privacy practices apply.
5. Local Storage and Deletion
Curation information, saved selections, discovery history, and app preferences are stored locally on your device.
Removing Printworthy removes most locally stored App data.
A small amount of non-photo state, such as a feature-usage counter and random discovery seed, may remain in the iOS Keychain across reinstalls. This information contains no photographs, location information, contact information, or account identifiers and is not transmitted to us.
Photographs or album organization you intentionally save to Apple Photos remain in your Photos library until you remove them.
Because we do not possess your locally stored App data, we cannot retrieve, recover, or remotely delete it.
6. Your Choices
You can change, limit, or revoke Printworthy’s access to Photos at any time through iOS Settings.
You can turn off Weekly Wall Picks within Printworthy’s Settings. You can also revoke Printworthy’s notification permission through iOS Settings.
You control when and where photographs are shared or exported.
7. Children’s Privacy
Printworthy is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Printworthy, Apple platform services, or applicable legal requirements.
When changes are made, the updated policy will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
